I am sending out this fax to ask for your help with a project I have been working on. I have no real academic background, and as you will see this idea will require the approval of the academic community as well as the business community.
In an effort to remove some of the greed from the basic model of capitalism, I have come up with a web based business collaborative management system where the assets for business are held by a non profit organization that works toward social development.
Web based management, creates a democratic form driven, "proposal and decision" platform for administration. A nonprofit organization and its members provides the accounting systems, information, training, capital and ongoing advise for the underling business entities.
The work place is where we interact most of our life, this is an ideal place to teach and improve human skills and ethical understanding.
This is something I have been working on most of my life, experimenting on my own with a variety of business models. Today I think there is truly a solution that can be put in place to create an economic system with checks and balances that is governed by altruism within an open democratic mechanism.
Democracy is something that we value highly, and if uncorrupted works very well. This web based system provides the tools to make micro-democratic decisions that come from a huge base of participants... from all over the world.
I would still be doing this on my own if it were not that my efforts did not succeeded. The most important lesson I have learned from my failures is that I lacked the knowledge base and resources that collaboration brings to any innovative concept.
The web site www.jobiz.org is the hub for developing this idea. The software to make the site interactive is in development. There are many aspects that need to be looked at from different perspectives to make this organization as sound as possible. I hope you will find time to look into this proposal, will lend your support to it, and participate in its formation.
