This is a mockup for a  "social business" that combines entrepreneurial skills with social altruism. Free market capitalism working towards social needs through a collaborative framework.

This online infrastructure will provide transparent accounting and management resources for entrepreneurship. Enabling donor/participants to advance social goals through direct hands on management.

Participants can decide where a donation will do its work.  Funds can be switched from one project to another. Changes in the direction of a project are done through proposals and are voted on by participants.

Each project is a business plan for social action. A business idea with a social purpose is presented on this form... once approved... participants may become involved with its activities.  

A participant is anyone that wishes to participate in any particular project. The goal is that through these business sufficient income is generated not only to fund social purposes but to also benefit the participants.   

Set up as a game format played by a variety of members online. A game who's final object is charity, community, and education. A direct and hands on platform for charitable action.

Select  Pizza Quantica from the links on the right. This a running business, the other links are business proposals. A journal is kept that keeps details for the day. Copies of the communications of the day between participants are kept and are open to all. The accounting link will provide a high level of transparency. Expenses are scanned and entered into a spreadsheet, regulating cost and income. Anyone can make a proposal ... like I want a raise or lets lower the price, it is then accepted or rejected by the participants... all under the watchful eyes of many.

We are working on building a server based system that will give business information in real time. A chat room format with an integrated "problem - solution" mechanism, providing a democratically  driven decision making process.  

I believe that a small business is a microcosm of community. That if you participate in these businesses your observations will stimulate the right actions needed to correct and make improvements. That with these tools better individuals and community can be built.
